Smooth mods are black, speed mods are silver.

If you purchased the bow new and didn't ask for them, it came with smooth mods.

Don't be too sure about that. We ordered and stocked half of each from the factory and kept a full set of each in back to change out for whatever the buyer wanted. It was up to the shop to order in whichever they wanted to stock. I'm sure there's some speed junky manager out there that only ordered speed mod.'s.

That could be true.

We've got smooth mods on all our bows, and then Bowtech sends up mod kits with every draw length in each mod style to swap and sell.
