Default How can I tell....

if I have Halo serving on my string vs. BCY 62?

My serving is extremely slippery. My D-loop moves, my arrow slides around and I'm extremely sick and tired of it. I suspect my shop put on Halo. I have tried my best to secure my D-loop with a set of pliers.

Tonight I am cutting it off and replacing it temporarily with poly until I can get a roll of BCY 62xs. I just became independent of my local shop for the small stuff. (aka. Fletching, center serving, etc.)

Thanks.

Serving is cheap. Take it off and put on the stuff you want.

when you take it off see if its braided. if its braided and not twisted together - its halo. it being braided is what makes it so expensive.
