Default changing the grip on a tomkat ?

I have a tomkat and I like it, the only thing bothering me is the square feel I get from the rubber grip, so I'm thinking of maybe changing the rubber grip entirely...

Anyone ever try this or have the same problem ?

I can shoot about 30 arrows and then the V' shape between palm and thumb starts hurting.....

The grip on my TomKat doesn't "hurt" my hand, but I have thought about changing it and buying one that was a little rounder b/c to me they fit my hand better than the stock TomKat grip.

Hopefully someone can give us some advice.

I wonder how many more Tomkats would be sold if Bowtech put a real grip on that bow.....

The bow itself is sweet, but the grip is terrible.

My '05 Diamond Victory had that same rubber grip. I called Bowtech and asked them if a wood grip from a '06 would fit it. It does, and I like it so much better. Contact the company and see if a wood grip from an '06 bow will fit. It looks very similar.

I contacted bowtech and had a very quick reply, the wooden grips are easy to order and fit the tomkat nicely BUT it's a pain getting them over here... I have to wait several weeks.....

So, in the meantime, I did some DIY with a little ducktape and a epoxy glue....it looks like **** but it feels so much better now
