Ibought a spool of BCY8125 for my string guy - he made me a nice new set withit - seems pretty nice. BCY also sells an 8125 "thin," which is a shade faster. I like it - lots of color choices and I've never had any stretch/movement issues at all.

There is also 452X.This is much thinner than 450, but is also a low creep string.
Another good point for 452X is that it fuzzes less than 450.
I forgot to mention 8125, ive got that on another one of my compounds. I think im switching to 452x in place of 450+. I just got through reading about 452X and I like the low fuzzthing. 450+ has always gotten fuzzy on me. I really wish I hadnt sold my string jig and micro stretcher. I thought id just buy new strings when I need them, and am now in the mood to make one. Oh well.
thanks for the responses.

There is a new serving materialon the market called "Halo" from all reports it is way better than the current serving material.
As yet I have not tried it out but I am waiting on a new string and cables from gibblet which I have asked that he put the Halo serving on so I can test it.

I finished up my string and went ahead and served it with what I had left. I have been reading about Halo, and it does sound good. I cant wait to see how you like it. If things ever work out, you, Rev, and Txjourneyman migh make it out for a hog hunt, or I out there and Ill get a chance to check it out.
