Default Why does PSE use Cable Tune?

What is a cable tune number? Why not just list the cable length?

How does one interpret cable tune?

Thanks, in advance.

Thanks Gib. I need to replace my cables. I have a new PSE string on. Not sure what its made of.

Is there any issues with using like 450+ cables if the string is dacron? I am not sure what PSE makes these 59" strings out of.

no problem at all. a fair # of shooters use 8125 strings and 452x cables - kind of the best of both worlds type thing.
