Who is the best bow manufacturer of the past 5 years?
With all the hype and all the advertising its hard to know who is the top dog in the archery biz. 10 years ago it might have been Darton, or Hoyt, or maybe even Browning or Onieda but who holds the crown in todays industry.
I think I know but would like tohere other opinions.

Dave, just to make it interesting lets get the answers for the rest of you questions, who made all the money ,who made the best selling bow, who had the least amount of returns per sales, this should be a really good post with alot of diffrent opinions.

I'd say there are2. Bowtec and Mathews with Hoyt close behindin all respects except returns without having prevy to insider numbers.I base this on just what I read and hear .

If the criteria is total sales then it almost has to be PSE. Average Joe out in the world doesn't want to buy a $700 bow and have $1000 till it's set up completely. To that end PSE probably makes and sellsmore entry level and lower end bow than any company around.
That's probably more true now than in a few past years since they now make Browning bows. The money goes into the same cash register in the end.

From everything that I've read, BGFisher is correct. PSE sells more bows with higher $ volume than anyone else. Theyhave beenthe staple bow in most of the big box stores.
They seemes to drop off a little when the founder Pete Shepley tried to retire, but he's back and they seem to be growing again.
After that it's Bowtech, Mathews and Hoyt, but I don't know what order.
You probably won't find out the percent of returns. All of these companies are privately owned and likely won't give out that information.
