what kind of bow setup to get i want to start but dont want to spend 500 dollors and hate it what do i measure?

Some proshops will let you shoot their bows. shoot as many as you can then make your decision.

Well, I read it and can't answer it any better. Other than saying that you can keep the price down by looking at various kit bows by Pearson, Alpine, PSE and others. These come as a setup with rest, sight, etc.

like with every one else shoot as many bows as possable. go on line check the prices to be able to talk down the dealer abit....
the bow has to feel right !!! also how long do plan on shooting it ?
if you plan on the 3d shoots other hunting besides deer. your skills may improve more then the walmart special can handle then you stuck haveing to buy another.....as a thought look at used bows. deffently can get a better bow at the right price. tobyn
