Iam having problems with my arrow groups at 20yds. I have alot better groups at 30yds than at 20yds.Does something need to be tuned or is it just me? I just started bow hunting last year so iam a newby.Ive been shooting 50 arrows almost every day. Iam curious about my nock point since i change to theWB it looks a little high but why do I shoot so good at 30yds?

pse thunderbolt @ 62#

PS: 58 yrs old I gave up my gun for bow hunting and i love it what a challenge.Read this site everyday its great info.

If your arrows are oscillating through the air due to poor tuning it may be that 30 yards is the point in their oscillation where they cross the center of your sight plane, or if you have fletch contact it may be that it takes that extra few yards for the arrow to fully stabilize (but it should stablilize long before 20 yards). Check to make sure that you don't have fletch contact, then check your tuning. Then again, the smaller looking target may be just forcing you to focus that much harder and execute a more perfect shot...

you should check your tune, the arrow might be stabilizing at the greater distance

Well, I've got my opinions about whisker biskits, which I won't go into here. But if your nock point looksa lot higher (or lower, for that matter) than it should be,good things to check are your tiller and cam timing.

The easiest for you to check and fixis tiller. Measure from the limbs to the string at each end of the riser. The measurements should be the same or1/4" or socloser on the bottom. You adjust tiller by turning the limb bolts. Tightening makes the distance shorter. Looseningmakes the distance longer. So, iftiller measures closer at the top, you loosen the top limb bolt, tightenthe bottom limb bolt, or do both, until you get the measurement you want.

For cam timing (or synchronization with a dual) you'll need a bow press to twist the string and cables. If you don't have one, you'll need to take it to a shop.
