Default Arrow drops

I was shooting the other day and I was shooting great, all of the sudden half way through the round my arrows would randomly fly 2 feet low completely missing the targest and the the next shot would be in the 12 spot. Im thinking this is a problem with my drop away. How do I go about fixing this or checking? It happens everyso often.

Either you are dropping your bow arm at the shot, or something is loose, defective or not set up correctly.

It sounds like your rest is not coming up the same every time. I am not familiar with how that rest works so maybe someone that has one, or has set one up can give you some pointers as far as what to look for.

I would check to see that the rope that pulls your rest arm is not slipping or something, or that the timing is correct. Also if you are using the bungie, I would switch it out with some rope.

I found the instructions for the set up of this rest on trophy taker's website. Looks pretty straight forward and simular to every other rest of this type. I would do it slightly different than the intructions say to, but that is just a personal thing. You would end up with the same outcome probably.

Another thing I would check for is if it is the same arrow or arrows that are doing it. Maybe you have a fletching contact issue and your nocks need to be indexed to get them all to clear.

I agree with Paul. My guess would be either your bow arm or your rest isnt coming all the way up at full draw, Ive seen both happen. Ive seen a trophy taker not come all the way up cause the rope got wrapped around it so the arrow shot more or less off the shelf of the bow, not good. Thats the kind of thing that makes you say WHAT THE F*@K. Just make sure your watching your arrow after you get to full draw.

Take a look at your arrows. Make sure all of the nocks are aligned the same.

I have had similar things happen after fletching up arrows (even quite awhile afterwards). I would have one arrow in a group that I forgot to turn the nock, and the vanes would just hammer the rest on the shot, sending the arrow on a wild fistailin' ride.

I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ANY ONE HAVING A PROBLEMB LIKE THAT WITH THAT REST. YOU ARE EITHER DROPPING YOUR ARM OR MAYBE NOT LINING THE PIN UP RIGHT IN THE PEEP
