I've got an ultramag, and I'm looking into getting an sts side mount suppressor for it. I was wondering if anyone here has an ultramag or a similar hoyt with the side mount. If so, please let me know what you think of it. I emailed sts archery about it, but haven't got a response yet. Please let me know, thanks.
I'm shooting a Powertec and have STS that attaches to the front of the riser but comes back to the string along the side (I assume that's what you mean) and am happy with it. STS will still allow for the use of a stabalizer.

Thanks for the reply BKE, I really appreciate it. STS makes a side mount suppressor supposedly for hoyts/ reflex that mounts near the limb pocket, it must be new for '07. If you look on their website you'll see what I'm talking about. Does anyone have one? Please let me know if you do and what you think of it.
After putting a MeanV on my Black Ice, I am getting the new STS side mount for my Trykon. STS is making a model that screws into the Hoyt riser.I should have it in a couple days. I'll let u know how it works.
I think your both talking about the same STS sysytem. They work great

yeah, he was talking about the same one as me, if you have one, how is it adjusted? The picture on their site looks like its in a fixed position, but when I ordered it, there wasn't any riser to string distance questions... So I'm guessing one size fits all...
There is an allen head for making adjustments as far as length and centering.
