Default Quickspins?????

I recently went to a store toosee if I could buy some 4" quickspins and they guy told me that they stopped carrying the 4" because the 2" do just as good of job with half the weight. Is this ture that the 2in will stabelize my arrow with a bradhead on it as well as the 4in. Or is this another guy that knows nothing making blind comments without any factual evidence to back it up.

Default RE: Quickspins?????

Ive shot both. I started with the four inchers and they worked awsome. I didnt really care for each vane weighing around 13 grains though. Last year I tried the 2 inch speed hunters. They have the same height as the 4 inch and same profile as the blazer vanes. I tried them with wasp boss bullet 75 grain heads with perfect arrow flight out to 80 yards. I also tried them with 100 grain G5 montecs and again had perfect arrow flight out to 60 yards I didnt try any further although Im sure they would have done fine. I switched to blazers this year in hopes of saving a few bucks but if they dont work as well as the quickspins Im deffinetly changing back.
