If the string is shot in, and the peep is installed correctly, it shouldn't be a problem.

Do you use a "D-Loop? If so, try rotating the "D-Loop" to square up the peep.

You may need to put a half twist on the string......Or, you may need a new string. As I mentioned, it should open if installed correctly.

Oh, did you install a new peep, or are you trying to use the tube peep w/out the tube? If you are, install a new one that isn't designed for use w/ the tube.

whatever you do, don't try and drill the peep out to make it bigger w/ a power drill after you've installed it. if you want to know why - you can ask me, davec, or the rev - the newest member of the club.

doesn't matter which end you use if its a dually, binary, or hybrid. you need put in half twist, take it out of the press, see if its right - if its not - put in another half twist and check again.

Do you know what material the string is made of? After 2 years of shooting the creep should be gone out of it but then 2 years is about when I replace my strings anyway. I'd be thinking about replacing it with something that doesn't creep like 452x, UltraCam or X-Cel...

Maybe I was just lucky but I installed a Shurz-a-peep on my bow. I bought a string separator at Gander Mt for 6 bucks and divived the string into 3 equal ( I hope ) sections and installed the peep . It worked out great .
