Default Quick Spins (2.25 or 4's)????

I'm shooting Carbon Force RXW 200 series at 60#, 28 inches with three blade fixed 100 gr. Muzzy's.

Do I go with the QUICK SPIN 2.25" or the 4" ?

Does the "kicker" really make a difference on the Quick Spin?

And by neither I'm sure he means go with Blazers.

I totally would go with the quikspin 2" speed hunters. Durable and go on easy. They are coming out with tough material quiksin vanes in both the 2" and the 4".

I appreciate all the input. Could I ask why your reasons are what they are?

Sure. First of all, I've not found them to durable, not even a little bit. ESPECIALLY if you use a whisker buscuit...I dunno if you do or don't....

Secondly, too much spin simply slows down your arrows. It's like a big parachute on the back. Any vane fletched with helical will spin enough to get the job done.

Third.....they are expensive, especially for not being very durable.

That's just my opinion though...Plenty of people use them succesfully so apparently they DO work...at least to some degree.

Thanks mobohuntr. I appreciate the followup. I already have the Blazers and fletched them in a helical and do like them. I was thinking about comaparing them to the QS but will now save my time and money.

PS: I am using the QAD Rest

Look into the new 2" Speed Hunter QuikSpin ST's. They're made from a new stiffer, more durable material that is more comparable to the Blazer, and you get the added revolution that the Kicker provides.

yup as Justin said, i would give the speed hunters a try. they are lighter that the blazers. i have had good luck with them so far. they also control fixed blade bheads good for me.
