My dad just bought a new bow and the guy that set up his bow had put some felt on the riser just under the rest and onto the side of the rest,so if your arrow would every fall of your rest while hunting it would not make any noise. i cant believe I never thought of this before.

Yeah, they sell that padding stuff at a lot of places, it is handy for keeping the noise down

PSE. every bow I sell I do just that for free.. nobody wants a loud noise when the big boy walks by and you start shaking the arrow off the rest.
