peep sight and string/cable?

I just purchased a new vectrix and I was curious if I should change the factory strings now as I am setting up the bow and what type of peepsight might you suggest . with or without rubber tubing ect..the sight is an RT-900

the factory string should last you a couple of years depending on how much you shoot, i am going to switch to the G5 meta peep i like the 1/4 size for hunting

The G5 1/4 is nice. I reccommend also. No tubing, unless you have some weird connection to it, just slows things down.

The tubing never appealed to me. I assumed extra noise and less speed then a traditional peep sight.

I'll put in another vote for the G5 Meta Peep as well. I can't remember which size mine is, but at full draw it fits my HHA single pin site perfectly.
