Default Cobra Pro Caliper EVI Release?

I use a True Fire X-Caliper release and a friend has the Cobra Pro Caliper EVI release. I was demonstrating the Relax to Fire feature of the X-Caliper. His EVI apparently can also be used in the RTF method however, when the jaws are set in the RTF method, the jaws of his release do not close completely and that is the only thing that prevents him from switching to the RTF method.

Is there an adjustment that will allow us to have his caliper jaws close completely as in the TF X-Caliper?

If you can't answer the question, perhaps you may have an idea where I can send my inquiry.

I would just call or email Cobra and see what they have to say about it. You might get an answer here faster, though.

Thank you for the suggestion. I just e-mailed them. I just hope it is an adjustment that can be made. The Relax to Fire technique is so very effective and easy to learn.
