Default New sight and rest selections????????

AFTER 25 YEARS OF BOW HUNTING I AM GOING TO ATTEMPT TO COMPETE THIS YEAR. HA. OH WELL. I WOULD LIKE TO UPDATE MY BOW WITH A NEW SIGHT AND REST. ANY RECOMMENDATIONS WOULD GREATLY BE APPRICIATED.

SECONDLY I CURRENTLY SHOOT EASTON XX-75 CAMO-HUNTER 2315 FLETCHED. IS THIS ARROW ACCEPTABLE FOR COMPETITION OR IS IT NECESSARY TO SWITCH TO CARBON ARROWS. I CURRENTLY HAVE A 276 FPS SHOOTING BEAR EXTREME 2000 SET AT 70 LBS WITH 80 LETOFF WITH A 32 IN DRAW.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT I WOULD LIKE MID RANGE SUGGESTIONS CAUSE I HAVE 4 KIDS(2 IN BRACES)AND A WIFE WHO THINKS I ALREADY SPEND TO MUCH ON BEING A BOWMAN.(GOT TO LOVE HER)

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP.

pup, that's just the rule for HC. Max is 35 yds, so more pins would be unnecessary, IMO.

WOW... I am shooting a buckmaster G2 74lbs 30.5inch draw,65%letoff, 30 inch PSE 300DM 400grains total and I only get 284fps. Your arrow, less tip is 464grains and you get 276fps I am not saying you are wrong but are u sure it is throwing a arrow that fast, because if it is I need that bow. with a 100grain tip @564grains I bet it shoots thru cinder blocks

JEVAN,

IT SOUNDED STRANGE TO ME ALSO. I ASKED THE GUYS AT THE PRO SHOP AND THEY DID A SECOND TEST. THE SECOND TEST RATED AT 269. I HAD 100 GRAIN PIG TIPS ON THE ARROW FOR THE TEST. IF THAT STILL SOUNDS STRANGE LET ME KNOW. I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO TEAT AT ANOTHER LOCATION TO GET A TRUE MEANING.

MY FRIEND WHO HAD A PRO SHOP YEARS AGO SAID THAT IT LOOKS LIKE A PILE DRIVER INSTEAD OF AN ARROW WHEN IT IS SHOT. I DID HAVE TO SWITCH FROM A PILLOW TARGET TO THE "BLOCK" BECAUSE I KEPT BLOWING THROUGH THE BAK OF THEM AFTER 20 SHOTS.
