Your killing me. I like/need a longer ATA bow and keep calling/stopping in to my bowtech dealer about the commander and all he has for me is "any day now". You are not helping!

Gibby, sorry we never made contact at the show. What tuning tool are you talking about?
Is it the arrow with the laser light in the center that projects a laser light 360 degrees on the bow?
I saw a few new tuning tools but not sure which one you're talking about.
There was also a simple thing that centers your aarrow with the burger button and also will adjust your center shot (rest).
Apple Archery also has made some major mods to their bow press, icluding the new angle brackets that presses the bow at the tip of the limbs.
What were your thoughts of the Viper D Loop pliers and the D loop cutting tool, I thoughtthis isa awesome tool!!!
ampa, len designed the tool that apple had waaaaaay up on top of the pedestal - the one that attaches to their presses that you can do anything you need to do to your bow with. i'm not sure how much len has said about it - but it was at the show - so - the thing will hold your bow vertically for you - and then draw the bow and hold it at full draw w/, i believe, absolutely 0 torque on it. it attaches to the press.
now - that's awesome!i know you know what can be done to a bow w/ that kind of tool - i mean you can find its most forgiving pt in a matter of minutes, get it all set up, and tuned - w/out ever shooting it.

Gotcha Gibby! I saw it at the Apple Archery booth, yes--showing a bow at full draw.
Yes that was quite a neat tool to come up with. It will measurethe peak draw weight, holding weight (calculate let off) cam lean, limb twist, measure draw length, setsdraw stop, set up drop away rest, cam synchronization, cracked limbs--can do about 9-10 different things.
Didn't know Len was the guru for that--I have seen him lurkingaround the Apply Archery booth quite a few times at the pass ATA Shows. One year he even used their Laser light and apple press during one of his seminars.
Don't know if you saw the new limb bracketsadded the the Apple press also. Using the jack, you can compress the bow at the limb tips to relax the string. I think this was made specially for the new BowTech pivot limb bows--as the distance frompivot point to the cam would not allow you to get anything in between.
But then again you can just turn out the limb bolts to relax the string/cables--no stinkin' bow press---says Bowtech! LOL.

i've got to get it fitted to my toad400 one way or another. i tried calling apple today, but only got a message.
