Default Muzzy Zero Effect

I am thinking about installing the zero effect. My friend has it and loves it. I have a quick question though. I have a PSE Super G, which is a parallel limb bow. Should I use the standard Zero Effect, or would I need to get the new Next Generation 600 PC model. I emailed muzzy and he said if i have less than 2 inches cable slide, then I should use the 600 PC. It looks like i have less than 2 inches, but its hard tosee myself when drawing back. I haven't been able to have my friend measure it for me yet as I draw back. Does anyone know off hand?

The best way to find out how much cable slide travel you have is get someone to mark the cablerod while you are at full draw.

Your wife or GF or both should be able to do this for you

I was also thinking of putting something that your slide would push down the cable rod and then leave it in place as a marker to measure from if you're trying to do it by yourself...

Just curious, why would that matter, it would have to be minimal

I recently got my allegiance and the bow i had before was really light although was no where near in performance. Its not that I want a light bow but just a lighter allegiance. If its minimal thats great, i will have to get one once I get the $$$$. The rest just looked bulkier

Yep, the rest is extremely light... See my review of this rest in the review section. We touched upon this topic at the end. I would say its extremely close in weight to your NAP.

Greg, thanks for the idea. I put a twistie tie behind the cable slide, so when I drew back it pushed the twistie then left it in place when I let the string down again. It was only about an inch of cable slide, so I will go with the next generation PC 600 model. found it on ebay for $46. thanks!
