Default homemade stabilizers

i was thinking about tryin to make my own stabilizer last night but i was unsure of how to go about it. I was wondering if any of u have done so and was wondering how u did it and how they turned out, and if u could please post pics of them, thanks

Probably more work than it's worth...Just leave that to people who make them all day long and don't be so cheapno offense

no offense taken, i was just think about this becuase i like tinkerin a bit on my own, and i was wantin a stab. for a bow that i have that i am just goin to fling arrows in the back yard and see how well i can do,, so i dont really want to dump a lot of money into it. thanks though

Dont know if this will help but back in the 80's there was a stabilizer made of 1" pvc about 6" long with a cap on each end. one end had the threaded rod attached to screw into the riser.if iremember right, hydrolic fluid inside and a piston and spring arranged somehow to reduce shock. some of the club members were making there own. cant remember what company made it but it was painted a single color and had a leaf stenciled on it. anyone remember it?
