Default SwitchBack XT, Vectrix or the tribute..whoa is me!

After spending hours looking for a bow for the Mrs. I have come across so many nice new bows for myself. I was just reasching out to you folks for any advise that I might be over looking in the 3 bows I was looking at for myself. I am not a very Familiar with the tech side of the bows but after shooting/drawing these bows they are very similar and I was just wondering if anyone had anything they might have to offer to assist in my decision. I am currently shooting a Mathews Legacy I love it very accurate it is 6 yrs old and I am wondering if there is anything I should be thinking about fixing, tuning, restringing (I shoot about an hr a week at least). Not being very technical I value your opinions greatly. The shop by me is the only show in town and feel he takes advantage of that situation.

All 3 of those bows are top line state of the art bows. People will give you personal bias and thats OK, but buy the one you like shooting best. The Mathews will likely give you the highest resale and the Bowtech will be a little easier to tweek with its adjustable draw length and draw force mods. The Vectrix may very well be the sturdiest with the laminated limbs. Are ya confused enough?
As for your bow you need to slap on a set of custom strings ( not the factory garbage from Mathews ) and its still a great bow. You should also look at Ross bows, they have an excellent rep and are usually cheaper to buy.

I know what u're goin thru. I just went thru the same dilema. Idecided on the 06 Tribute, & am very satisfied w/it. I shot the Guardian, & an 06 Allegiance. I'll be using my bow forhunting, this shot very quiet, fast & accurate. Plus the proshop owner uses an 06 Tribute for hunting. I actually shot his. I did have to learn how to positon my hand a little differently than my old Golden Eagle, but all arrows hit the center mark within shooting 6 arrows. I even had another archer next to me comment on how quiet my bow was & he was shooting a Bowtech. I think another nice advantage w/Bowtech is the availability to switch between speed & smooth mods.I might be wrong, but I believe that the Bowtech will be the fastest, but the Matthews the smoothest. They all are very good bows at that price range. In the end it's what u like & feels good to shoot.
