Default Slow 07 Allegiance

Today I set up a 07 Allegiancewith 28" speed mods, 70#, with a peep, loop and string leeches along witha 07 Vectrix at 28", 70# peep, loop and factory string shocks. To my amazement the Vectrix was 4 fps faster according to the chrono every shot. I did have a Whisker Bisquit on the Allegiance and a drop away on theVectrix but I was shocked. I wouldhave thought the Allegiance wouldhave been faster. I know the WB will slow you down but not that much would it? The Allegiance went 290 consistantly and the Vectrix went 294 consistantly with a 368 grain arrow. Is the VectixspeedIBOunder rated? Give me some feedback.

Just to compare my 06 Tributeset the same but at 63#'ssent the same arrow through the chrono at 287!!!

Greg.

By the way these poundages were done with a digital scale so I assume it should be fairly accurate.

Doesn't surprise me at all - to get a true comparison, you either need to put a whisker biscuit on the Vectrix, or a drop away on the Allegiance.

A lot of people have gone to the biscuit, but I don't like it because of the obvious drag. Are your fletchings helical? A helical fletch through the biscuit really drags the arrow down and would seriously mess with your results.

I know what your saying but I would of expected about 300 fps out of the Allegiance. I can't see the WB slowing it down 10 fps. The arrow did have Blazers with helical.
