Default arrow FOC ?

What is the best front of center for hunting. I have never really paid much attention to it until now. What happens if the FOC is too low or too high? Thanks

Default RE: arrow FOC ?

It depends! I have found that 20 yard shots you can get away with anywhere between 7-12% I myself like a bit heavier FOC & have found that 10-14% to be about perfect for carbon arrows with fixed blade heads. I have also found that my 50-60 yard groups tend to be better with the higher FOC. If you stick with most good 100-125 grain broadheads you will fall right into that 10-14% group.
