Using Archer's Advantage software you are spined on the weak side with that setup, using a 75 grain head you would still be on the weaker end, but not as weak as with 125gr if you can cut 1/2" to 1" off your arrow it would be perfectly matched with a 75 gr head and your set up, 1" being better, hope this helps.......

Muskrat, I'd switch to a stiffer arrow. If you take 50 gr off the front of your arrow, FOC will be too low, possibly. With a broadhead FOC is much more important than with field points.

I'm shooting 61 lbs. at 27" and the Easton carbon epic 500 at 26 1/2" and they fly like darts. If the 400 Beamans are spined like the epics, you could cut them about 1" shorter and they should fly well.

I just ran through the latest revision of "The Archery Program" free 15 day trial.

The 125's show yellow weak on spine and the 75 show green stiff on spine. A 100 grain shows alomost dead nuts perfect!

Feel free to download the trial and run the numbers yourself!

I checked the FULL VERSION of the software again if you cut an inch off your shaft and use a 100gr. head you will be spined perfectly for that set-up with a foc of 12.8 if you cut and inch off and use a 75gr your foc is 10.1 either choice they are spined properly for you set up.

I was going to say what Denali said last. You can still try the 75gr heads. So the arrow will be a little on the stiff side. Stiffer is better than weak. Won't know till you try.
