Default First time arrow making

I got a new fletching jig for Christmas and I just ordered my helical clamps, Wraps, and blazers. This will be my first attempt at making my own arrows. Can't wait!!!

I will post some pics if i am sucessful.

you may want to order a few extras. my first 3 times i had to tear off the wraps and blazers and do it again but once you get it down it is as easy as pie

What kind of jig did you get? With all this talk about arrow building, I think I better order a dozen shafts. I'm feeling the urge to wrap some gold tips and "Blazerize" them.

I got the one from cableas It can do all 3 fletchings at the same time. My helical clamps came in today and i did a practice one on an old arrow. its really hard to tell if you are doing it write with the blazers. I guess they are enough helical to do the job.
