I use regular ball point pen on masking tape. You can then put a strip of clear packaging tape over it if you wish for protection, but it's not necessary. Been doing it for 15 years without a single problem.

Pretty simple, just like sierra said. I use the tape that comes with my HHA and mark the yardages with a pencil. I have to use a pencil because I'm always changing bows or something on them.

I don't know why you would think about using glow-paint or something like it unless you think you have to adjust them when hunting. For what it's worth most of us who hunt whitetails from a tree stand or similar short range positions don't adjust them for hunting unless for a special shot. Just set it for 25 yards and shoot anything from 5 yards to 30 yards with a mid body hold.

A product called liquid paint.I use white for my 20 yard yellow for 30 and 40 any other color. They make geen, red orange blue&black. I simply put a dot for a marker at the yardages,it works great for me with my Impact archery Cosmic sight. Heres a link to a similar liquid paint pen http://markingpendepot.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=16
