Default Help with sizing Whisker Buscuit QS

I am thinking of trying out the whisker biscuit QS and I am trying to figure out what size to buy. It seems that the criteria on Carolina Archery's website dosen't jive with Gold Tips's
Here is the size info from CA:

and Gold Tips site measures the shafts in thousandths of an inch...what is the assocation to 17XX, 20XX, etc.?

I am shooting Gold Tip Hunter XTs...
Thanks,
Sean

I'd go with the medium or large. You only want the biscuit to touch the lower portion of the arrow anyways, so tighters isn't better IMHO.

Gold tips are considered "insert" carbons, and therefore the medium size is what the recomend. That said I have had good luck with either the med, or large size.

For a bigger carbon arrow I'd go with medium. A little big won't hurt.

Get the large or the Xtra large. I used to shoot the medium because (like you) I thought that was the size I should use but I noticed that with a slightly bigger openingmy vane damage and noise were gone.

I shoot Beman ICS 340 Camo hunter arrows and I use the Xtra LargeBiscuit. My arrow only touches the blackbristles and fits slightly loose in the biscuit. I have found the best results when I switched to a larger opening.

I would say large or XL

I agree with BigJ12 the arrow will center its self in the bottom of the hole so the bigger the better.
