Default Loud allegiance help!!

I recently hooked my allegiance up with a nap dropaway (2100)rest and an extreme sight. The bow shoots great but it is kinda noisy compared to my...darton storm. I know the bows are completely different but it sounds more like a cross bow. Is this just the way it is or is there something i can do?? I dont have it tuned yet and i was wondering about cam timing and things like that. Any help would be appreciated.

I had a NAP dropaway on an old bow, and the forks would hit theshelf of the riser on release. What we did was put some moleskin on the back of the shelf and that quited it down quite a bit..Also might sound dumb but are you using Limsavers??

Was the bow loud before you put the new rest and sight on? Check all attaching screws, mod screws, cable rod, etc. Check the rest and sight for loose parts or screws. The Allegiance is definitely not a loud bow.

A couple things. I'm an old Allegiance shooter from way back. I also have shot that particular rest. They are a little noisy, but other than whats been stated, you can do a whole lot with it. Just mellow the sound as best you can.

As for the Allegiance, its as quiet as any of them. But, I've found they do need a little help. The Bowtech factory hush kit, IMO, leaves a lot to be desired. I wish they would get something together with Limbsaver to put their products on their bows. I leave them on the limbs, but I slide them do to the limb pockets. I then put a set of Sims Limb Savers on out near the cams. You will be absolutely amazed how much better those little peices of rubber makes the bow. I also ditch the ones on the string almost as soon as I get the bow home. I use the Sims String Leaches by limb saver. Make sure you use the the new generation as they hold up very well.

Also I use a Sims Modular Stabilizer on mine as well. Its not necessary, but I think the vibration dampening qualities of this stab help.

Do you still have the rubber "arrow holder" that came with the rest? Since it doesn't really "hold" the arrow anyway; I cut it into a small rectangle and stuck it on the arrow shelf to leviate noise when the rest falls.

Also, I have moleskin on the shelf so when my bow is on my lap in the standthere is no noise when/if my arrow falls off the rest. I put the rubber rectangle over the moleskin.
