Default Carbon Arrow Shafts

I was just wondering where I should start in ordering some bare carbon shafts for the arrows I will be making for next season.

I shoot a Switchback XT with a 29" Draw set at 70 Pounds. I plan on using a 100 grain tip, not sure if I will go with expandables or a fixed blade for next year. don't know if that really matters or not.

You could get some goldtip xt hunters from cabelas. 70 bucks for a dozen bare shafts. I think most people will agree that goldtips are some of the best carbons out there and not a bad price either. Or you could go with the gold tip pro shafts which have even better straightness and weight tolerances. Personally though ive switched back to the old trusty xx78's. No more carbon for me.

You'll need something spined in a 340....I assume your arrows are like 28" long .....

Hold off for a bit....All arrow manufacturers are releasing their 2007 line up at the ATA show, and very shortly after that they will begin showing up in pro shops...

That was my idea as well.

Thanks for the heads up. I found one store that does sell bare shafts, didn't notice any gold tip arrows though.
Anybody have a guesstimate on what month the should show uP?

I have heard RUMOR that GT is moving to Mexico....but I can't confirm that....

As far as a time frame, I'm sure they'll start showing up after the ATA show in mid January. I confident you'll see them by the end of the month.
