Default Mathews Q2

Mathews Q2 60 lbs. at 27"- 344 grain arrow. What kind of speed could I expect. Being a speed bow, is the Q2 a touchey shooter. I am primarly looking for a hunting bow that is fast and quiet. Don

I wouldn't exactly call the Q2 a "speed bow"??? However, it is one incredibly sweet shooting bow that is extremely forgiving and does OK speed wise. Of course you will be way off the mark for IBO rating with a short 27" draw. I would say your speed should be in the neighborhood of 260 to 270. Still plenty falt enough. This bow is a supurb hunter, you will be very pleased with her performance.

I'd agree with IL-Cornfed on the speed plenty to hunt with . The q2 is an excelent bow while I bring 2 bows to hunting camp each year
[ one backup bow ] I allways end up useing the q2 first its my first pick in a hunting bow Its quiet , powerfull , forgiveing , and manuverable what more could you want from a hunting bow . Put a muzzy zerro effect on it and you have a magic bow .

If information provided by the members of this board have helped you please let us know .

I'd say 260-270 fps would probably be in that ballpark. The Q2 is a sweet bow I've shot mine since it first came out and have no complaints.I'm selling it to get a new bow this year just because I want a change.75lbs. 28 1/2",406gr. arrow at 296fps. is what I get.
