Any Bow Tech, but my fav is the BK II 2, or Pro 40 w/ BK II cams. Good luck trying to get someone to let you shoot one, or even draw it without a safety draw. Best bet is go somewhere the guys @ the shop o a BT & have them shoot for you.

I bought my sight unseen or shot. But the guy @ the shop shot his Pat for me.

Didn't you mean anything Mathews, I'm shooting the Legacy right now and don't know of anything I've shot that's any better.

Definitly Mathews.

Pricy but more than well worth the price.

Just get out a listing of all manufacturers and write down everyone to check out, because I'll guarantee you that every brand and model will have some very good bowhunters that think it's the best. On the other hand, every single brand mentioned, will have many who dislike them greatly. I've personally been shocked at what some people think is the best. It's all personal preferences. Some bows do some things better than others. Some are middle of the road on all features. None of them do everything best.

You should go out and shoot them and you can come back and tell us which one was best in your opinion.

pup,

If you want the fastest bow, get a Bowtech. The quietest bow for hunting, get a Mathews.
But if you want the best bow get a Merlin.
Not as fast as Bowtech or quiet as Mathews but Merlin is more than adequate in both departments.
Compare Merlin's limbs, limb pockets, cams, riser geometry and finish, plus different string harnesses and overall craftsmanship to any bow on the planet.
Especially, look at Merlin's limbs and limb pockets!
Don't take my word for it.
Just compare!

Ok, forget about what everyone else posted and just get a Hoyt!!!!

Though not the quietest...they are quieter than most.
Though not the fastest....they are faster than most.
Though not the "most finely crafted overall"....they are more well built than most.
Though expensive....they are not as expensive as....

I'm a big fan of the Darton Maverick. Plenty fast and VERY smooth to draw. I also shot some Bowtechs last year and must say they are as nice as any bow I've ever shot BUT HOLY CRAP!!! They are twice as expensive as my Darton and I GUARANTEE they don't shoot twice as good.....but I'm a teacher so $$$$ are hard to come by sometimes. But if $$$ wasn't an issue I'd give the BT line a very, very serious look.
