Default Need some help.

Hi. I'm new to the forums. I need some advice. I normally shoot Traditional bows. I scored a really great deal on a 2006 Reflex Caribou and I'm shooting a Bodoodle TimberDoodle rest on it. I can not for the life of me figure out how to quiet that rest down.I'm getting (hard to describe) a "shlang" sound from it..???? I have the tape silencers on the launchers and put a piece adhesive felt where the rest makes contact with the spring arm. That helped a little. Other than that, I'm tickled with the arrow flight I'm getting. Pretty forgiving rest if you muff up your release a little. Thanks.

Chris

And there's your "Shlang"........Moleskin........lots of moleskin. Beat it up and replace it as it wears.

Theres just too much surface to surface contact with that type of set up to not expect a Shlang if you are drawing and shooting against a hard silencing material.

Try the moleskin.......might change the shlang to a swoosh.
