Honestly when I researched sights, I was going to go with Spott Hogg but personally speaking I found better. The Viper Predator Pro MT, brighter pins, (ask SBGobblers, he has a Spott Hogg, selling it for the Viper after seeing mine), construction is unsurpassed.

Here's my review: http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=1577393&mpage=1

Rob's right about the pin brightness, for sure... I replace my pins with Fitz fibers as soon as I get them. I'm willing to pony up the extra $15 or so extra in replacing the pins because of the bullet-proof construction and especially the micro-drive system that comes on the Spot Hoggs..

I've never personally seen the sight Rob's referring to, so it too may have a micro-drive system; I don't know.

Ya got ripped off then Gregonly cost me $7 to replace the fibers on both my Hogg-its and still have enough fiber left to do another sight.

I have always preferred the slider type sights made by Sightmaster, HHA, Vital, and others for hunting.
No chance of picking the wrong pin and, with a fast hunting bow, you're good to go with a single setting from 10 to 30 yards if you know your bow's trajectory.
I replaced my fiber opticpin with a tritium pin that's so bright you can see it in total darkness.
It'sfar superior to any fiber optic pin, imo.
Another favorite hunting sight is the Eradicator sight that works just like a handgun and doesn't require a peep.
It is available with tritium dots.

I always used a HHA slider for hunting . I sold it because i took time off hunting .this year i got the itch to hunt i bought a CJ . I like it for the $ it can't be beat. BUT I GOT TO GET ANOTHER SLIDER (IMO) I'M WAY more accurate with the yardage !
