Default Shot A Hoyt Razortech

I'm a confirmed BowTech shooter, but I shot a Razortech today. I was very impressed. A very quiet, recoil-free bow, with only the factory installed limb savers and leeches. The draw curve was very smooth, with a very solid wall. The new cam and a half seem to be a really good setup. Unfortunately I didn't have time to shoot a Cybertech. I suspect I'd find it to be the same, or better. I didn't, however, cancel my order for the Patriot DC, but the Hoyt will be in the back of my mind when I first start shooting it.

Hey Phil, thats nice to hear, iam planning on buying a razortec very soon, and i will be placing an order for a patriot dually beginning of the year. I guess the camo is pretty sharp on the hoyt also.

Brian, yes the finish on the new Hoyts is much nicer, IMO, than last yrs. It's darker, with more green in it. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the Razortec. I liked the light weight and balance. Shooting a new bow just makes me want Jan to get here more! Good luck with your new toys when you get them.

I would really like to shoot both bows side by side to see how they compare as I firmly believe they will be the two hottest sellers this year.....unless Mathews pulls something out of their...uhhh...armpits...

I had the opportunity to shoot my patriot next to the Razortech and I have to say Hoyt pulled one out of thgere "ARMPITS" pabowhntr LOL with the razortech. It is everything you say it is pdg 5oh. The camo helps Hoyt also. Overall though I am going to stick with the Bowtech because it is not enough to pull me away I like my speed of the patriot and the feel of the longer bow that it gives me. Just one mans opinion

KIDD, the Hoyt is indeed a very nice bow. You are right on the speed. I think IBO is 305? 315 for the Cybertec, I believe. The quality of construction, something I look at closely, was also very good.
Frank, do you still have yours?

Well thanks a whole lot Phil, Now I gotta find a Hoyt dealer along with a Bow tech dealer. I'm going to end up spending more on gas driving to see these toys than the bow itself before it's over!LOL

pdg 5oh, I still have my Patriot if that is what youa re refering to. It is a sweet shooter, maybe its just me ANyway, I think the Bowtechs are just a rock solid bow. They are going to be tough to top in my opinion.

pdq,

Yes, I still have my Razortec....

The listed IBO for it is 310 fps and I believe it would definitely attain it at IBO specs.

The 70 lb, 30 inch draw model that I have shot a 365 grain arrow at 299-300 fps. That was with a fully loaded bowstring..peep sight, rubber eliminator button, string leeches etc....

KIDD, no I was refering to PABowhunter. I didn't expect that you had sold your Pat. I don't see myself switching from BowTech. I have two now and the Pat DC on order. I was just impressed to the point of mentioning it here, by the Razortec. I hate it when I like so many different things. How can I buy them all
