Anyone out there use or try the quiktune 360 containment rest??? I like the idea of the total vane clearance. Any words of wisdom out there?? Thanks in advance!!!

Several guys at the shop have bought them. Then general concensus is that they are better than the Biscuit because the vanes travel through air, not bristles. The only real problem is helical.....Part of the vane would contact the brushes, but not all of it. Very good, solid, stable rest that works very well. Like the buscuit, you can turn the bow upside down and the arrow won't fall off. Great for the stalk hunter.

I too have tried the 360. I also liked it with the exception of helicals. I think the plastic arrow rest is a bit to wide, and it seemed to wear-out after about 3 months, however NAP was very good about sending me a replacement. For now I'll stick to my WB and maybe in the spring I'll try to workout the helical clearance issues.

I used one this year.

It is VERY critical that you set this rest up right. I trimmed the bristles down a bit and then moved them closer to the plastic rest piece. If you do this there won't be enough room for the arrow to fall off between the plastic post and the bristle pieces. If you do this the rest is a fantastic option for a hunting specific rest. I will likely use mine again this year assuming I can find a way to get a Martin lockmount on it........otherwise I will go to a biscuit.

My only concern with them is the plastic post cap. They break too often (100% of the ones we sold broke). On a back country trip here in AK that could be disasterous. Be sure you carry a spare post cap no matter where you go, and the allen tool to change it, or better yet, get a rest that you don't have to worry about.

it was very picky for me and the post cracked on mine. i put the biscut back on and re fletched my arrows with blazer vanes. its a nice combo now. a little tighter groups and the vanes look new after quite a few shots. that 360 rest gets the thumbs down for me.

GREAT, one more trinket I can skip buying this year.
Freshly scratched from the list.

Thanks for the heads up.
