I've read where guys had problems with certain fletch glue.
I'm going to start doing my own fletching with feathers.
What do you think is the best glue, or is there any to avoid?
Don't know about feathers but Bohning Fletchtite works pretty good on vanes with carbon arrows. I do believe there is a post on another forum that may suggest glue for feathers.

I've had the best luck with Fletchtite Platinum for plastic vanes and superglue gel for feathers.
More important than the glue, is the preparation of the shaft before gluing up. Check the specificarrow manufaturers website for preparation instructions. Some recommend alcohol to clean, others recommend acetone. Be sure that you get the purest alcohol or acetone available. You can usually get 100% acetone at a drug store. Don't get the acetone that they sell for fingernail polish remover. It usually has additives included.
For feathers, I say Bohning fletch tape. Amazing stuff. If you don't want to use that, use either Bohning Quantum XT or Pine Ridge. Really, any of the cyanoacrylates will work very well. Those are 2 of my favorites though.

i like the goat tuff but i read on here that the loc tite super glue works well too and is available at most of the local stores. the fletch tite has always let me down. no matter how careful you are the tube drys up if it sits for more than a couple months after its open.
Bohning Quantum XT or Fletchtite Platinum. The XT gives you a lot faster dry time if you are looking to shoot your arrows quickly. I believe it is 15 minutes for the XT and 1 hour for the platinum.
