Default Peel me off the ceiling my 38 pro is in

I just got the call tonight, my 38 pro is in and ready for set-up. Who wants to place a bet where I will be tomorrow.

No, I have to wait until 3:00. I wish I could call in sick. I shot one a month or so ago, and it was sweet. I can't wait to see what it is like set up for me with all my stuff in it. Looks my pro elite just got mothballed for now!!!

Well, it is all set up and shoots absolutly awesome. Hoyt out did theirself when they built this one. It has a smooth draw and abolutely no hand shock

It holds just like em, rock solid. The factory strings seemed to have improved. I am not getting any string twist at all on my peep. I am impressed. I was real sceptical about what seemed to have replaced the protec , but all my worries are over, as I would have probably chosen this one over theprotec. If you get a chance, checkone out!!!

I can see the cam being an improvement but the 06 Protec was a machine.

If I get a chance to get back into tourney's,the Pro will definately be on at the top of my list.I am really checking out the 38 Ultra also, for a weekend plinker, at the occasional 3-d shoot but with my kids sports,I didn't make 1 single tournament this year so my trusty old hunting Xtec is doing fine for now.

I ordered mine with the cam and 1/2 system. I have been toying with my draw length, and felt that I would be very limited with the c2 cam. The cam 1/2 gives about 8 3/4 inch brace height with a 39 inch axle to axle. I am shooting a 26 inch 3-28 at 28 1/2 in draw and set at 66 lbs, and still get 285 fps. It is very forgiving, and should be a jewel on the 3-d course. I am getting a great group at 20 yards and will probably shoot a round of 5 spot with it this weekend as a test run.
