Bow Press Recommendations

I recently bought a Bowmender press from a forum member. Walks With A Gimp. He makes a very good press at a reasonable price. Do a search here for Bowmender press and you will find great reviews. I am pretty new to doing my own bow work and this press makes it easy. It is very easy to use, holds the bow secure and upright. It stores in a small space. Also it presses the bow by flexing the limbs without putting pressure on the riser so you don't have to worry about twisting or bending the riser. Another vote for the Bowmender from Walks with a Gimp.....Fantastic press.

If I were going to spend many hundreds of dollars for a big bench-mount press, I'd buy a Sure-Loc Xpress... but I spent way less than that for a press that's extremely portable and presses with the same amount of stress on my bow as that: the Bowmender by WWAG. FANTASTIC press, and does all you need -- one of the best, if not THE best, presses on the market.
