Default TR mantis v drive or Impact all terrain

[hr]

Im looking for a pendullum sight that locks down and can be used as a slider sight. I have my choices narrowed down to the Trophy Ridge Mants V drive or the Impact All Terrain. They each have features I like I have read some negative stuff on the mantis but they were a few yrs old and Im wondering if they improved since. Im looking for any feed back negative and positive. Im looking for a quiet sight (if that possible in a pendullum).
Thanks.........

yeah,
Thats what I like too. The Mantis seems to have it all but like you said it does look bulky and i imagine it has some weight to it. I just wish I knew which one was the quietest when using the pendulum. I do like the level and the big feild of veiw with the mantis and the elevation knob interests me. But I do appreciate the simlicity of the all terrain I wish i knew how big the apperture is on the All terrain.

timbow2- I am also trying to narrow down between the Impact all-terrain and the TR mantis. I also like the Impact Bravo pendulum, but it doesn't appear that it can be locked in for the ground. I shoot a Impact Jumbo single pin and it is very light, durable and bright. And i do like it but i think i want to go back toa pendulum sight. So i am leaning toward impact because the mantis does appear to be bulky

Man I have been looking at that Impact a little closer since we have been talking about and I think I may try one I dont shoot from a tree stand but the pendilum wi ll act as a horizontal axis on any slope up or downHMM IM thinking this set up could be really good for a 3D course

If you try it soon let me know what you thinkof it. One minute i have my mind made up on the all terrain and hr. later its the mantis v drive. I guess sitting in a tree stand too much can get a guy thinking too hard.

the mantis v drive is a great sight sets up easy and is a snap to change yardage the all terrain tends to get stuck and has a limited amount of adjustment also the locking pin doesnt work very well

S Heater,
Thanks, that what I was kind of waiting for. I was leaning toward the Mantis anyway. But no one has tried the all terrain I did read somewhere else that the lock down for the all terrain wore out after repeated use.I also like the bigger sight window on the Mantis.
