Default why dont manufacturers build stabilizer into the bow?

or atleast come out with their own line of stabilizers that would work best with there own particular bows....wouldnt the manufacturers be able to achieve perfect balance this way...and save the consumer the hassle of trying 20 different things before they find the right combination....and be able to havea sweeter shooter right out of the box

Not everyone wants their bow to feel the same as everyone else. I know a few hunters who don't even use a stabilizer and do just fine shooting. Some want more weight, some want less, some want a longer stabilizer and some want more. Individual thing according to balance and feel.

come out with their own stabilizers for their particular line of bows??? i know everyone has different tastes but who doesn't like a bow that sits dead in the hand with a loose grip....i also shot without a stabilizer for 15 years and still dont like the extra wieght too much but like the balance it gives the bow

You would if everyone elses bow felt perfect....something thats balanced right just feels good and its hard to argue with it even if your not used to the way it feels....they could have interchangable wieghts kind of like most custom poolcue manufacturers will do for their customers.... so you could add less or more depending on how you like your particular bow.....
i dont know all im saying is it would be nice for the manufacturers to build balance into their bows instead of us having to add it to the bow...i think its a fair exchange at the price bows are had these days.

arent most companies in buisness to run competition out of buisness?????its a cut throat world we live in[:@] besides people will believe anything if they hear it long enough....it would be a gimmick(kind of likecarbon clothing....wich in my opinion isthe dumbest thing since doctors prescribed Radium as a cure-all in the early 1900's, im not joking the whole country went nuts for the SH*T.[8D][8D]...)for the bow manufacturer to use to take buisness from other manufacturers....the way the hunting market place is these days it seems like hunters buy things just because its new not necessarily improved...and to have the "latest technology"...

Alpha Capo.. back in the day most bow manufacturers used to offer a whole line of accessories for their bows (including stabilizers).... Some would only fit a certain kind of bow.. or need an adapter to fit. Then people would like a certain manufacturers product.. and want to put it on their bow.. but didn't want a "Hoyt stabilizer" on a "PSE bow".. ect.. Now they just build them under their private labels.. like PSE's Top Gun.. Hoyt has both Hoyt and Fuse.. ect..

But theawnser to your main question.. everyone wants something different. There is no such thing as the "perfect" balance for every shooter or setup... because this is completely subjective to the setup.. IE what rest, quiver, sight, grip pressure, ect..

I'm personally fond of a heavier bow.. so I have my bow weighted down.. I can't shoot as well w/ a really light bow.. I just can't hold it steady... and I also like to have a very quiet bow.. and the heavier bow will absorb more shock esp since my weight comes from my simms modules and Doinker stabilizer.

In a way, Hoyt does this, always have had their own line of stablizers, sights, rests etc for their bows, now they simply do the same thing under the Fuse name.

Default RE: why dont manufacturers build stabilizer into the bow?

thanks guys....

i understand that not everyone has the same taste...but ive held bows that are evenly balanced and bows that werent and i could almost bet that most shooters would prefer a bow thats evenly balanced.... on top of that a bow that is evenly balanced to begin with would be easier for a shooter to find the balance he prefers through the use of accessories...
just my theory....its hard to explain.

also i like some mass in my bow as well it is def easier to hold steady...but sucks carrying up and down hills all day on a stalk...also if you arein asituation where you have to hold your bow out for a long time(2-3min)before shooting it can be quite nerve racking.
