Default 2003 Hoyt Cam and a half

Does anyone know whether the 2003 cam and a half can be retrofitted to the 2002 Cybertecs, etc. What, other than more level nock travel will be the other plusses of this design? I hear several are coming out. Will synchronization be a concern again?

Default RE: 2003 Hoyt Cam and a half

olddogrib,

I would, almost definitely, say "yes", that the Cam and a Half should be able to be put on a 2002 Cybertec. But, the possibility exists that you might have to change the limbs as well as the cams and string/cable because of a change in the draw weight range that the bow would operate at. The total cost might be enough to cause most folks to just sell their "old" bow and buy a new one instead.

I posted a review of the Razortec I recently bought. In it is a listing of some of the positive advantages to the new cam design. Len posted some comments about the level nock travel issue with the new cams.

Here are the links to both threads....
