Default Best hunting sight

Hey guys,
I just broke the fiber going to two of the pins in my Copper John 3 pin sight. I really like this sight and am probably going to buy new pins, but am thinking about putting this sight on my kids new bow and upgrading the sight on my bow, a brand new Switchback.

So, my question is, what is the best bang for the buck out there.

Looking for a sight that has 3 to 5 pins, prefer 3 or 4 probably. I hunt mostly, so that is really what I am looking for. My personal limit is 40 yards, my real comfort range is 30 yards. That is why I have never gone with more than 3 pins. 20, 30 and 40 yards has suited me fine.

Price, well I don't want to say it isn't an object. I am willing to pay more, if I get more. This is the second Copper John 3 pin I have had and am very happy with it, I just know there are more and better out there and am looking for some advice.

Thanks bunches in advance.
Hank

Here ya go...tough as nails and the service is first class! The price isabout $77, depending on where you goand it includes the light. You can get .029, .019 or .010 pins.

Spot Hogg......literally the last sight you will "have" to buy.

Tough as nails with the most precice adjustments I have seen short of a target sight.

None better in my opinion. All of my bows with pin sights wear a Hogg.

I've been doing some reading and looking.

Have to say, I am impressed by the Apex Twil hunter listed above.

They are hard to find, butI may give one a try.
If not, I'll either get another CJ or a Hogg.

Thanks for the input guys.

Talk to Rick James, he is a HNI member. He has these in stock and will be able to ship them to you.

After disappointment with seeing the pins on the Copper John, I changed. I put the Toxonics K9 HD on my Switchback XT. WOW what a difference. The pins have continued glowing long after others would have faded out.

I highly recommend this site. It is a little pricey but the last shght you'll need to buy.

Thanks guys,
I ordered an Apex Twilight hunter w/ the .19 pins yesterday.
This looks to be a good option.

I agree w/ the comments on the CJ sights. I like the sight itself, but the fiber is much to brittle. I did find some replacement fiber to get me through till the new one shows up. I'll probably get some good pins for it and put my CJ on my kids bow.

Thanks again.

I have to second the Spot Hogg. The hunter hogg it with aftermarket fibers is hard to beat. It costs some dime, but it is well worth it. I didn't believe it until I tried it.
