Default 2007 Ultra/ProElites in camo?

Had a quick question for any guys associated with Hoyt close enough to know if the Elite series bows can be ordered in Realtree Hardwoods Green HD? What about a black riser with camo limbs?

I am seriously considering buying a solid 3-D/backup hunting bow this fall. I know I might find a better combination in a 38 series bow or a new Vectrix XL, but I want to keep an open mind when I finally get around to shooting the new lineup.

I got to draw a '06 ProElite tonight and it felt pretty solid in my hand. I am sure if I get to shoot them ('07 lineup)I will ultimately know what I want.

Thanks for the help,
Bols

Thanks for the reply Mike. If I didn't already have the catalog in hand that would have been a great start. Thanks for sharing the link though.

Back to my original question though, seeing I can't really determine much from the catalog, can the Elite series bows be ordered with a camo finish? What about black riser with camo limbs (probably XT 3000 limbs)?

Any information would be great!

Thanks,
Bols

You can have the riser in that color with different color limbs, but it would have to go through the custom shop and cost more. The elite series and hunting IMO do not go together well. I would hate to try to thread a broadhead through a shoot through riser in the heat of the moment. I have an 06 proelite, and it is a very steady bow. My main hunting bow is an 05 protec. I ordered the 38 pro for this year as a go between for hunting and 3-d if needed. The 38 pro is way smoother than my protec. I can't wait, I should have mine real soon.

And yes, you can get the elite in camo

I was strongly considering a Pro-Elite last year before I bought my Old Glory. They are super smooth bows, but the riser is what turned me against it for a hunting bow. I had enough troubel threading the arrows with field points let alone trying to get a broadhead though the riser. I'm sure it would be easier with expandables, but a fixed blade, cold weather, nerves, gloves, wind...would all cause me problems with getting the arrow nocked!

Thanks for the replies guys.

Yeah, see I am definitely caught in a bind about buying a new 3-D/Backup bow.

I never thought about the broadhead aspect, I guess that might affect any second shot on game, if that would become necessary down the road. That might be apoint to consider.

I guess I really won't know more until I get in the shop and shoot the new lineup.

And then of course, see what other manu. have out as well.

Thanks once again,
Bols
