Default You bowtech guys cost me...

I was all happy with my Q2 and life was great, until I kept hearing about how wonderful and fast the bowtech lines are. Well, as of today I have on order a 2003 Black Knight 2 with the 6.5" brace height. The guy from Bowtech said that with my draw length and at 70 Lbs, I should get 330 - 340 fps. Darnit, now I guess I'll have to get that spot hogg sight I've had my eye on.

On the side, I've learned more from this website on deerhunting and equipment than anywhere. Thanks and happy hunting.

Kelly

You won't be sorry. The only problem you will have is telling where your arrows are hitting cause you can't see them. I dare say the Q2 will be gathering a lot of dust in the months to come.

Remember you don't HAVE TO shoot it at 330-340fps.......If all that speed is too much for you and you miss your Q2 speeds ,you could always fletch up some 700gr Bowfishing arrows for your BKII.
Seriously, I think you are in for a treat.

Thanks Matt..Anybody now how to get coffee out of my now smoking keyboard?.....ROTFLMAO....

By the way. Just last week I got a special new Tall Brace BK2 and unless the 2003 Pro 40 Dual can sway me this is probably going to be my 3-D rig for next year... The things simply awesome... I had a buddy of mine shoot it yesterday and the first words out of his mouth were "damn that's quiet"...
There's nothing on the string but a loop and peep, and a pair of VibraBlocks on the limbs...and it's shooting 321 fps...quietly mind you...

I have the BK II (T) BH, it is unreal. I also shoot above the 320 mark quietly. The guys @ the shop were amazed @ how fast & quiet the bow was.

I dare say:

When I 1st got it I was using the 29" mods & a long arrow waiting on the 30" mods to come in & shooting around 298. With the new arrows & 30" mods I am shooting above 320 FPS. The damn thing seams quieter. Maybe its just me trying to watch my arrow so intently.

You will not be disappointed!

Hey, nobody taught me the handshake. Ok thats it, I am going to buy an off brand bow.

Did anyone pick up on the Off Brand thing, kind of like not buying an Anheuser Busch beer product, IE... white can that says "Beer " on it.

BowTech Shooter, you said that you had recieved a "special" BKII and that it might be your 3D rig for next year. Is it a 2003 BKII or something more custom? How much do you know that you're not sharing?????
