Default tuning arrows and bow

I'm new to this stuff...How does one tune their broadhead to their arrow?
I've heard it mentioned but don't know how it is done.
I've also heard you all mentioning tuning bows, again, I'm in the dark.

Anyone willing to help a newbie out?

If the bow type matters, I shoot a Bowtech Diamond Rapture Lite.
My husband's is the new Mathews Switchback XT.
Thanks!

VTE,
Not to dodge your question but wow!, that's a lot of info to try and convey in one response. Try using the "search the forum" tool at the top of the page to look up previous posts on "broadhead tuning", "broadhead balance" and "bow tuning". If you have some specific questions after reading through that info it'll be easier to reply more concisely to them one at a time. Good reading.

You do not tune a broadhead to an arrow. You tune the two as a combination to the bow. You can tune the bow to shoot the arrow. You can also play with point weight, fletching type and size, etc to shoot from the bow wll. Tuning is really playing with the bow/arrow combination to get the best flight.

One of the best pieces of advice I can give you is to log onto www.eastonarchery .com and download their Tuning Guide. It'll help with initial set-up and explain tuning from the basics of paper tuning all the way through fine tuning and broadhead tuning.

It is the fourth download down and is a 14 page detailed step by step guide.

Let me know if this helps.
