Default Letoff

How can I determine what the letoff is on my bow?

Its a 2005 Hoyt ViperTec Cam 1/2.

Am I able to change it?

you will need a bow poundage scale, at full draw you can determine what the let off is. see what the bow is pulling just before it breaks over then see what it is at full draw subtract the two this will give your percentage

cam and a half does not have an adjustable let off advertised at 80% but is really about 78% let off.

If the modules are green you have 80% letoff. If the modules are black then you have 65% letoff. Easy as that.

Forgot to add, you can change them by buying whichever one you want and swap them out.

Actually, that's not right bigpapascout. For example, If my bow is pulling 70lb. right before it breaks over, then measures say 30lb. at full draw, subtracting 30 from 70 gives me 40lb. My bow doesnt have 40% let off. If the bow has a peak draw weight of 70lb. and a let off of 65%, at full draw you will be holding 35% of the 70 lb. or 24.5lb. With the same peak draw weight and a let off of 80% you will be holding 20% of the 70 lb. or 14 lb.
