Default How do you dry your feather flecthings?

It starting raining to day while I was hunting and my feathers got wet on my arrows. How do you dry them? I wiped them down with a towel and used a blow dryer on low and no heat.

I usually just spin the arrow between the palms of my hands pretty fast, to spin out the excess water out of the feathers, make sure to orient the arrows in my quiver so the feathers aren't touching anything and just let nature take it's course. If the feathers do wind updrying out of shape, a few seconds over the spout of a steaming tea pot and they're good as new.

I don't do anything. Wet feathers are no problem at the distances I shoot while hunting. I just make sure the feathers aren't touching anything. If they dry while flattened, they tend to retain that shape. The best part, even if they did flatten, they'd still shoot great.

The tip about the Steam from a tea pot from Aurthur P is great. I was amazed the first time i did this. Just let your feathers dry naturally and shape them back as best you can by hand. Put some water in a teapot and put on the stove to boil. When the water starts to boil and steam starts coming out the spout simply hold the feathers in the steam and slowly rotate for 20 or 30 seconds. They'll be as good as new.
Great tip.
