I've had a couple of Cougars over the years, and most recently a Jaguar. There's an old Firecat in the closet that I'd sure like to get a new set of wheels and cables for, to get it shooting again. Seems like I've had umpteen jillion Martin longbows and recurves. Martin bows are kinda like peanuts. Once you've had a couple, you just can't stop. [8D]

switched from old polaris express pse to a Martin prowler se this year...great bow...They make basically the same bow(almost the same specs) under a diff name called the saber for 379$ same as the prowler se when it was new in 2004 awsome bow for the price...none better in my opinion. also a fairly heavy bow if you like more mass in you hand.

my only gripe is the cheapo rubber grip....& when at full draw u cant relax because 65 pounds of weight is only a very short distance away they do this to get a longer power stroke when using a fairly high brace height (over 8 inch)

Just got a Martin mag cat this year! I love the way it feels! I had a little trouble tuning it, but now I'm getting some nice groups with it!Haven't hunted with it yet, but tomorrow or Tuesday I will be for the first time!

I don't currently shoot a Martin, but I've had a few in the past and always thought they were a good value. I'm a big fan of the way they attach their limbs to the limb pockets - simple, strong and rock stable.

I've got a Martin Jaguar I bought on sale form Bass Pro at the end of last season, it was an impulse buy really, I was only gun and crossbow hunting until then.....the pins on the sight were broken and the tube for the peep sight was broken. They took a sight off another bow and knocked down the price to$250 for the wholepackage, a bud fixed the peep tube. I practiced over the summer and have taken three does with it so far this season......great value.
