New bow ordered!

Well thanks to all the feedback I got and after shooting a bunch of bows, I sold my rem 338 ultra mag and ordered a new Merlin XS bow. It should be here in about 3-4 weeks. I shoot with a whiskerrest now but think I will go to a drop away rest and Black Gold photochromatic sight. Should have it set up in time for the winter league.

Awesome bow rcgerchow! You will not be disappointed. That bow is a tack driver.

MERLIN has some of the best looking bows i've ever seen(in pictures).I have never seen one first hand,but would like to try them out.Please put up pictures when you get yours!

you sold gun just to buy a bow

I sold a gun that I wasn't really going to use much anymore, plus I have a lot more tucked away in my gun safe. I had a lot of problems with my bow this year and wanted something new and different. Kind of like when I bought the 338 ultra mag. The money I got for the gun paid for the bow worked out great and keeps the peace at home. I will post some pics when I get the Merlin set up.
