Default Bowtech Now or Wait?

So I'm thinking of a new bow and all this talk of Bow Techs is getting me interested.

I went to a shop the other day and checked one out. All they had left were 2 Extreme solos. I shot the Parker U31&35(very nice) I shot the Matthews (nice too-not my style though)and I shot the Solo. I liked the way the BT felt, carried and shot.Now...this is a 2002 bow and the new ones will be out pretty soon. Should I wait to see the new models? How much difference will there be for this model? Also are the BK2 and the Pat. That much better? I haven't shot either ( she sold out).

I figure you guys are the ones to ask, The lady that owned the shop didn't know the Pat. was coming Dual for '03. (Duh...even I knew that!lol) So I LOOKED like I knew what I was talking about! LOL. Any info would be appreciated...Thanks Guys

Default RE: Bowtech Now or Wait?

I just bought the BK II about a month ago. Do a search on my name to see all the great reviews about it. Very fast, & shootable. People say the BH is too small only because they haven’t shot it. Everyone I have had contact with loves it & say it is very shootable.

The 03’s will be neat with hush kits & vibrablocks standard, & the dual Pat will be sweat. But keep in mind you get a $50 dollar rebate on 02 bows. Worked great for extras I wanted after shooting the bow for a while.

I did research for months on bows, drove everywhere to shoot all different kinds, long and short is everyone has different taste & expectations in bows, my BK II meets all of them.

Trushot,

Being this close to the 2003 models coming out, I would definitely wait! Don't make a hasty decision now and regret it later.

I would definitely wait.

The ExtremeSolo is being replaced by the new EXVFT which will feature a better riser (Pro series), less recoil and vibration and increased speeds.

In addition the PAT DC will be out, and the PAT I-cam will feature a more refined riser from the 2K2 models

If I am not mistaken the rebate ended on Oct. 31st.
